Personal Particulars: Fears: He does have mild anxiety of losing control and not being able to do what is expected of him in his duties. Habits Quirks: -Will give silence if bothered by a conversation/person/incident. Or doesn’t want to discuss the issue. -If he is not exactly truthful he will often clear his throat (*coughs*). -He does like to smoke, though not a chain smoker. Dislikes: -He dislikes overt displays of public affection directed towards him. -Disorganization. Likes: -Chocolate as a drink (hot or cold). -Walks along beaches. -Good conversation.  In true "Once upon a time" style, legend has it the Correyvreckan whirlpool was named after young Viking prince named Breacan. The prince had fallen in love with a young woman and asked her father if he could marry her. To win her hand, the father set a challenge; the prince had to hold his boat steady in the whirlpool for three days. The prince asked the wise men of his people for advice and was told to gather three ropes – one of wool, one of hemp and the one woven from the hair of pure maidens in his homeland. Breacan was a fearless, bold, hero and something of a looker, the women were more than willing to aid him in his plight and give up their hair. For three nights the prince remained anchored in the whirlpool. On the first night the wool rope broke. On the second night the hemp rope broke. All that remained was the hair rope, and on the third night the prince soon learnt one of the young maidens who had donated her hair was not as pure in body as she said. The hair rope broke and Prince Breacan drowned. When the prince drowned the sea lord Poseidon, in lust for the young prince, saved him from death and turned Prince Breacan into a Selkie. Now After centuries enlisted as Captain of the Guard for Poseidon, Prince Breacan, now known as Captain Breacan lives out his immortal life. Like all Selkie’s he must protect his Selkie coat from being stolen otherwise it indebts him to the person who has stolen it, until he steals it back. His life is filled often with travel, the ocean and contractual work as a bodyguard. At the moment, he is retired from duty and the sea. He now runs a small Bed and Breakfast, which is also the place he calls home. His home is a small intimate beautiful Bed & Breakfast named ‘Anam Cara’. It has panoramic sea views and is situated on the south shore of Galway Bay in the west of Ireland.
